Thanks to the partnership with Polygon, the MyLugano app is evolving, providing users with new opportunities and experiences. Through the app, users can already activate the “Assets” section and manage a personal custody multichain digital wallet. Several tokens have already been integrated into this section, designed primarily for more experienced users, and new ones may be added in the future. This is a significant change in various aspects, as the new offering complements the functionalities managed by the Municipality and its technological infrastructure (3Achain).
To date, this infrastructure has allowed over 30,000 users to access the loyalty circuit through the LVGA payment token, generating significant revenue for affiliated local businesses. The integration of Polygon’s blockchain solidifies MyLugano’s position as an innovative local payment tool and opens up new prospects for users to explore the Web3 world.
